Claims of Nadi Astrology: The Nadi Astrology claims that the past present and future of all human beings on earth are written on TaaLegaris or Ola leaves. Astrologers in possession of these leaves passed on this information from generation to generation and the reader can pull out the exact leaf that is yours and it contains all the details about YOU. The Plot: The astrologer asks for the thumb impression (right hand for males and left hand for females). The astrologer then searches his repository of Taale Gari (leaves - or papyrus of the old days) for the seeker's classification of a thumbprint. Finally, the minimum possible set of matching leaves is brought. Every leaf corresponds to some individual and hence will bear the birth and kinship details of its seeker. Then the "Reader" goes on reading the details mentioned on the palm leaf one by one. e.g. " Your name begins with Ka, cha, Ta, tha, pa , ra" ? You answer Yes or No. If it is No, he asks if it be
The Promise : The Astrologer or his wife can read your mind without you giving any hint. The Layout : As soon as you enter the astrologer's room, you are required to be seated on the floor. There is a raised platform about 2 ft high from the floor behind which the astrologer is seated. On the opposite end of the platform is an idol of a deity. There is an adjoining room where the astrologer's wife/assistant is waiting to baffle you! The Plot : The Astrologer makes you believe that he or his wife can read your mind. You are required to write a set of three questions on a piece of note given by the astrologer and insert it in an envelope given to you by the astrologer. You then hand over the envelope to the astrologer who then places it in front of a deity. The Deity is an idol of a god or anything that could be religious. The astrologer chats with you for a minute. The astrologer then calls/beckons his wife/assistant who is in the adjacent room. The astrologer'
